Michael White – South Florida Criminal Defense Attorney
Michael White brings a rare combination of courtroom experience, law enforcement insight, and financial acumen to his criminal defense practice. A former prosecutor and General Counsel for the Broward County Police Benevolence Association (PBA), Michael now focuses exclusively on protecting the rights of individuals accused of crimes in South Florida.
During his tenure with the State Attorney’s Office, Michael prosecuted hundreds of cases spanning misdemeanors to serious felonies, gaining extensive experience in jury trials, pretrial motions, and evidentiary hearings. In 2018, he was honored with a nomination for Florida’s Prosecutor of the Year by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).
Michael’s work at the PBA involved defending police officers in criminal and administrative matters, as well as negotiating collective bargaining agreements on behalf of law enforcement agencies across Broward County. This insider perspective enhances his ability to navigate complex legal and procedural issues with precision.
In addition to his legal background, Michael has held analyst and associate roles at major financial institutions including Davis Selected Advisors, Deutsche Bank, and Nomura Securities—an asset when defending clients accused of white collar or financial crimes.
Michael earned his B.A. in History, Cum Laude, from Tulane University, and his J.D. with Honors from George Washington University Law School.
